Wie kann ich Musikproduzent werden?

Eine Ausblidung zum Musikproduzenten gibt es leider nicht, deshalb sind die Wege oft unterschiedlich. Die meisten Produzenten & Audio Engineers haben damit begonnen Instrumente zu spielen und haben sich dann z.B. Hochschulen weitergebildet. Was macht ein Musikproduzent?

Ein Musikproduzent ist für die fertige Produktion eines Musikstücks verantwortlich und produziert gemeinsam mit Komponisten, Instrumentalist und Vokalisten nach seinen eigenen Vorstellungen das Musikstück aus. Im Laufe der Produktion kann ein Musikproduzent unterschiedliche Rollen einnehmen und bspw. selber als Instrumentalist agieren. Oftmals koordiniert ein Musikproduzent eine Musikproduktion von der ersten Note an, wobei ihm oftmals ein Audio Engineer oder DAW-Operator unterstützend zur Seite steht.

Quick tips

Phantom power (+48V) only has to be switched on for condenser microphones and active ribbon microphones. Passive ribbon microphones, dynamic moving coil microphones and special types such as digital or USB microphones do not require phantom power.

Note the break-in period for new studio speakers and avoid turning them up loud at the beginning.
